What’s new in Mailfois

What has changed, newest first. Mailfois is built with the teams who use it: if a change came from your suggestion and you’re happy to be named, it’s credited here.

Upkeep

A home for the jobs that come round again and again: list care (unsubscribes, bounces, complaints, inactive subscribers, consent), sending domains watched every week, access reviews, monthly template checks and getting results in. Each job has an owner, an optional checker or rota, reminders and a record you can print or download. More

Data requests

Log a request to delete, see, correct or stop using someone’s data by your own reference. Mailfois works out the deadline for where the person is, makes a job with the steps, and records whether it was done on time. It never holds the person’s details. More

Upkeep on the calendar

Switch on Upkeep in the Planner’s calendar and quarter views to see jobs beside your campaigns, and set every market’s stage or send date in one go. More

Help

A new “What Mailfois can do” guide summarises every part of the app, and the email rules by country now carry a yearly edition (2026/27) with what changed.

Ireland edition, in euros

mailfois.com now has an Ireland edition with prices in euros (Pro €14, Team €28 a seat, Agency €45 a seat), and Mailfois can bill in euros. Pick Ireland from the country menu at the top of any page. See Irish pricing

German email marketing law

A plain-English guide to sending marketing email to Germany: express consent for consumers and businesses, double opt-in, the existing-customer exception, the Impressum and warning letters. Read it

Irish email marketing law

A plain-English guide to Ireland’s ePrivacy Regulations: opt-in consent, the 12-month limit on the customer exception, criminal penalties per email, and how Ireland differs from the UK. Guides in the app can now be filtered by country and topic. Read it

Specialist sign-off

Legal, Brand, Pricing or a reviewer for each market can sign off just their part of an email: the footer, the terms, the offer or their language. Mark the part with a box, a section or the exact words; they see it highlighted, by notification or a private link with no account. The email waits until every part is signed off, and a new version that changes an approved part goes back to the same person. More

Approved wording

Footers, consent lines and terms a specialist approves are kept, with who approved them, when, the language and markets, and an optional review date. The same words in another email count as already approved, Brand Guard flags a footer that differs, and Studio can insert the approved wording. Team plan and up. More

Rules that ask for you

Ask a specialist automatically: competitions to Legal, prices to Pricing, each language version to that market’s reviewer, footers that aren’t approved wording to Legal. Reminders chase waiting parts, and Teams or Slack can post when a part is asked for, approved or sent back.

Client approvers see what’s still with Legal

An email with a part still waiting says who it’s with on the client’s review page, and the team is told when the last part is signed off. More

The team’s images

A shared picture library for mock-ups and wireframes: add, drop or paste pictures, give them names and alt text, and use them in Studio. Text on an image can save straight into it. More

Smaller things

Markets show as short codes (GBR, NZL, USA) with an All markets choice; Ideas and Journeys share one switch in Settings; empty Sign-off, Library, Insights, Build and Copy pages show an example of what they become.

Plan an email on its own page

Plan one email with its dates worked back from the send day, its markets, builder, approver, brief and links, with a live summary as you go. Or plan several at once: type them, click days on the calendar, paste from a spreadsheet or set up a repeating series. Plan by week, month or quarter. Campaigns now open as a full page, and link names (Module 1, Hero, Footer) can be changed. More

Brand Guard pre-send checks

Brand Guard now checks inbox readiness too: Gmail clipping, Outlook problems, dark mode, preview text, subject lines, text contrast, alt text, risky links and more, each shown on a preview of the email with the fix. Teams can switch a check off for their workspace, with a reason. More

Text on an image

Put a headline, text or a button on a picture in your brand’s fonts and colours, with contrast checked against the real pixels behind each line and alt text that carries the words. More

Boards for workshops

Board templates for kick-offs, retros, journey workshops, A/B test plans, personas and content calendars, plus frames, dot voting, a shared timer and export to PNG or PDF. More

Teams and Slack

Post sign-off and translation news to your own Microsoft Teams or Slack channel. No customer data is ever in the messages.

Sign-in rules and an activity log

Owners can require two-factor sign-in and limit invites to their own email domains, and see an activity log of members, invitations and security settings.

Automations

A register of your always-on emails (welcome series, abandoned basket, winback): what starts each one, its emails, waits and splits on a map, sign-offs, results per step and reminders to review it. More

Whiteboards and working together

Ideas and Journeys boards became whiteboards: sticky notes, shapes, connectors, pen, images and real emails, with live cursors and booked sessions. The Planner shows who else is looking at a campaign and won’t let two people overwrite each other’s changes. More

One email, start to finish

Every stage now offers the next one, from the plan to the mock-up, build, checks, sign-off, send and results, and My emails lists what each person needs to do next.

16 October 2026

Sign-off versions and compare

Every change to an email makes a new version; compare any two to see what changed, pin a change to the exact spot on the email, and check the live build matches what was approved. More

Landing page check

Mailfois reads the pages your email links to and flags a broken page, an offer or price that doesn’t match, a code that’s missing or a sale that ends before the send.

Reminders and My emails

Builders and approvers are reminded when a build should start, is due or is late, and when a sign-off is waiting, with a Monday “Your week” email and cover for people who are away.

History, Library and Showcase

A shared history of what happened to each email; a Library you can browse by month, quarter or year; and showcases you can share by link or download as a video. More

14 and 15 October 2026

Agency workspaces

A workspace per client with one “All clients” view across them, client approval by private link with your team’s check first, and printable approval records and client reports. More

Results and client hubs

Import email results from your platform as totals and share them with clients on one live, password-protected page. More

Simple mode and the Help centre

Switch off the areas you don’t need yet, and find step-by-step help from every page.
