The short answer
- Choose Dyspatch if you want one tool to build production emails with locked, on-brand blocks and export them straight to your ESP, and you’re a larger team that can use its Teams+ localisation.
- Choose Mailfois if you build in your ESP (or anywhere) and need the plan by market, translation with outside translators, sign-off with outside approvers and a library, at a small-team price.
Who’s writing this: I’m Liam Kane and I built Mailfois, so I’m not neutral. I’ve tried to be fair about where the other tool is the better choice. Facts and prices come from each company’s own website and help pages, checked on 15 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
Does Dyspatch support translation?
Yes, on its Teams+ plan (custom pricing): locales per email, POT/PO files and integrations with Smartling, Phrase, Crowdin and XTM. Mailfois includes translation with translator links on every plan.
Can outside people approve in Dyspatch?
Anyone with a share link can comment, but Dyspatch’s documentation describes approvers as users with access to the workspace. In Mailfois, outside approvers approve from a private link with no account.
Is Mailfois an email builder like Dyspatch?
Not for production emails. Mailfois Studio makes wireframes and mock-ups with HTML to start from; the final email is built and sent in your ESP.
